The College of Physiotherapists of Ontario is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to regulating the practice of physiotherapists in the public interest. As the largest physiotherapy regulatory body in Canada, the College (previously the Board of Directors of Physiotherapy) has been helping to ensure that patients receive safe, effective physiotherapy care since 1955.

The OMTA is a voluntary professional, not for profit association which provides a free referral service to the public in locating Massage Therapists in communities across Ontario. The association has expanded its role for members and developed extensive programs for professional development, voiced a strong position in areas of advocacy, initiated a research committee, declared a commitment to initiate increased services to the membership and established public relations as a key agenda item for the future. The OMTA is committed to getting the message out about massage therapy and keeping its members up-to-date.
